The group brings together people who are ambitious, discerning, and take pride in their work.
Robin Birley Holdings is entering its next phase of international growth across the UK and US. We are looking to appoint a Group Finance Director to act as the CFO’s senior execution partner and lead the day to day running of a complex, global finance function.
What you will do as Group Financial Director:

- Take hard line leadership of Divisional and Commercial Finance leaders, raising pace, proactivity and execution quality.
- Drive a disciplined close, strong controls, embedded cash rhythm and scalable finance operations.
- Lead delivery of transformation and enhancement – pragmatic improvement, not “big bang” programmes.
- Build a high performance, low ego finance culture that supports growth while protecting the enterprise.
What are we looking for:
- A senior finance leader (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified) with proven experience leading complex finance operations across multi entity, multi jurisdiction organisations; UK and U.S. experience is highly desirable.
- Deep, hands on expertise across financial control, audit, tax and transfer pricing execution, treasury, cash management, and end to end finance operations.
- A confident and credible people leader, capable of constructively challenging and supporting senior commercial finance stakeholders.
- Commercially astute, operationally grounded, and driven by continuous improvement.
- Low ego leadership style with high standards, sound judgement, and a genuine passion for building and developing strong teams.
- This is an active, hands on leadership role rather than a passive or oversight focused position.
