About Us: Razzamataz Burton on Trent is a brand new theatre school launching in September 2026! Our mission is to inspire the next generation to be confident, embrace what makes them unique and shine through fun, high quality performing arts training. We teach children aged 4-18 years dance, singing and drama covering both Musical Theatre and Commercial styles.
Job Description: To deliver high-quality, engaging performing arts lessons to children aged 6–18, supporting the development of confidence and performance skills within a fun and supportive environment.
- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and age-appropriate performing arts sessions covering both Commercial and Musical Theatre styles
- Create and teach choreography, vocal work, and scripts for classes, showcases, and performances
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and active participation in all students
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to produce high‑quality performances
- Prepare students for shows, events, and performances
- Monitor student progress and complete annual report cards
- Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of ages, abilities, and learning styles
- Uphold and promote high standards of behaviour among children, ensuring a safe, positive, and respectful environment
- Assist with rehearsals and performances, including the summer show and other events
- Participate in termly staff development meetings and ongoing training
- Maintain clear communication with the Principals and provide regular feedback on student progress and class development
Additional Information: In line with operational needs, you may be required to:
- Work flexible or varied hours as required by the needs of the school
- Travel to attend meetings, events, and performances

Person Specification
Essential- Strong dance, singing or acting ability and solid technical training
- Experience of, and genuine passion for, working with children and young people
- Strong ability to create and deliver choreography, vocal harmonies, and drama-based staging for engaging performances with young people
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and engaging teaching style
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
