We are looking for an experienced and driven Solution Architect to join our team, responsible for designing, scoping, and delivering technical solutions for our clients. This is a hands‐on role that combines solution design, technical leadership, and project delivery across a wide range of infrastructure and cloud technologies.

You will work closely with Account Managers and technical teams to understand customer requirements, design robust solutions, and lead the delivery of complex infrastructure and cloud projects. The successful candidate will have broad knowledge across a wide range of technical specialities and the practical ability to implement these technologies, ensuring solutions are delivered effectively and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Attend client meetings to understand technical and business requirements.
  • Design solutions aligned to customer needs and project objectives.
  • Produce clear and accurate technical design documentation.
  • Support Account Managers during the solution scoping and proposal stages.
  • Deliver consulting and technical implementation services for clients.
  • Act as the technical lead on complex infrastructure and cloud solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are implemented to best practice and industry standards.
  • Produce documentation and handover information for delivered projects.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and solutions.
  • Support the commercial team with solution pricing and technical validation.
  • Attend relevant vendor and industry events.
  • Deliver internal knowledge‐sharing sessions and technical training.
  • Maintain and develop relevant technical certifications.

Requirements
  • Strong experience with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Windows Server installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper‐V.
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Networking installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Security technologies including MFA, MDM, endpoint protection, and next‐generation firewalls.
  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure or cloud projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients.
  • Broad technical knowledge across multiple infrastructure and cloud disciplines with the ability to design and implement solutions across these technologies.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced networking protocols such as MPLS, BGP, or OSPF.
  • Experience with VoIP or telephony solutions.
  • Experience with AWS or multi‐cloud environments.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or delivering internal training.

Qualifications
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Relevant infrastructure or networking certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, VMware, or Cisco.
