We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team of like-minded tech people. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the purpose of the Digital Marketing Manager is to turn our value proposition into measurable pipeline by orchestrating high performing digital programs across paid, owned, and earned channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will partner closely with New Business, BDEs, BDMs, and the wider Marketing team to build audience‑first journeys that convert, ensuring every click has a clear path to lead, opportunity, and revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Lead Generation (30%): Own digital demand generation targets across priority sectors; plan and deliver multichannel programs (paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, email) to create sales qualified opportunities. Build segmented audiences and value‑led propositions, tailoring copy and creatives to sector pains and buying stages. Partner with BDEs and BDMs on outbound amplifiers (remarketing, lookalikes, conversational ads) to warm target accounts and accelerate meetings.
- Campaigns & Channels (Hands‑on + Orchestration) (30%): Search & SEO: Lead GA4 informed keyword strategy, technical hygiene, content optimisation and landing page CRO. Manage Google Ads/Microsoft Ads accounts end‑to‑end (structure, bidding, audiences, assets, negative lists). Paid Social: Plan and execute LinkedIn (and Meta where relevant) to reach ICP decision‑makers with thought leadership, offers and event/webinar promotion. Marketing Automation & Email: Build lifecycle and nurture programs (welcome, MQL → SQL, winback); run A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, content and CTAs. Website & CRO: Own the conversion experience – brief UX changes, manage experiments (forms, value exchanges, social proof), and ensure content freshness across key solution/sector pages. Content for Digital: Brief and repurpose content (blogs, guides, videos, case studies) with the rest of the marketing team. Third Parties: Manage agencies and freelancers for PPC, web agency; hold them accountable to performance SLAs and budget.
- Data, Reporting & Insight (20%): Report on marketing performance across channels and the funnel (impressions → MQL → SQL → opportunity → revenue). Establish clear goals and diagnostics (CTR, CPL, CPSQL, pipeline, ROAS, assisted conversions). Research and analyse market trends, competitors and demand signals to inform campaign themes and content.
- Digital Strategy & Roadmap (10%): Translate commercial objectives into a digital growth plan with objectives, budget split, and channel mix; iterate based on performance and market shifts. Support the Head of Marketing, Sales Director, and CEO with strategy updates, budget planning and investment cases.
- Sales Alignment & Enablement (10%): Attend internal sales meetings. Work with the marketing team to ensure digital campaigns have matching sales assets (landing pages, one‑pager, case studies) and that handovers to BDEs and BDMs are timely and complete. Maintain a high quality prospect database to enable precise targeting; cleanse and enrich records monthly.
Customer service is paramount to us, which is why we only look for candidates with excellent customer‑facing skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Your friendly tech‑savviness will truly shine here.
Requirements
- Qualification: Business or Marketing related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: Proven experience designing and managing digital marketing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue. Hands‑on expertise with: Search & Paid Media: Google Ads/Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Analytics & Tracking: GA4, Google Tag Manager, UTM governance, basic Looker Studio reporting. SEO & CRO: On‑page/technical SEO, conversion‑led content, A/B testing. Automation & Email: Building segmented journeys and nurture programs. Email marketing campaign management with demonstrable performance improvement. Comfortable managing agencies/third parties (PPC, web) and collaborating cross‑functionally with Sales. Familiarity with PipeDrive CRM for campaign/source tracking and opportunity hygiene would be beneficial. Experience implementing accurate end‑to‑end tracking and attribution models.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; able to influence and negotiate at all levels. Data driven with strong commercial judgment; you can prioritise for impact and explain the “why” behind your tests. Highly organised, comfortable running multiple campaigns concurrently. Creative problem solver with a people‑centric service mindset and outstanding English conversational fluency. Proficient across core tools (MS Office) and design basics (Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent). Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and performance dashboards. Proven track record of improving conversion rates and generating measurable enquiries. Excellent relationship‑building skills. People centric approach & service. Excellent conversational fluency in English is required.
