We are looking for an Apprentice 1st Line Support Engineer to join our growing team of like-minded tech people. Should you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Supporting Windows networks, including associated cloud services, infrastructure and connectivity provide 1st line technical support to clients.
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical faults and issues.
  • Respond to client queries and service requests.
  • Assist with user rights, passwords, accounts.
  • Handle basic security administration.
  • Diagnose issues and explain technical details clearly.
  • Occasional onsite visits to clients when needed.

Strong communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Completion of secondary education to standard suitable of an apprentice and enrolled (or willing to enrol) on the Information Communication Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • Aspects of Windows desktop, application support, Mobile Device and Tablet
  • Basic understanding of business technologies
  • A keen interest in the world of technology
  • An understanding of how learning can be translated into real life situations.
  • Excellent conversational fluency in English is required to clearly explain complex technical issues.
