Security Support Engineer We are looking for a Security Support Engineer to join our growing team of tech people. If you choose to accept, your responsibilities will encompass the following: Be the first line of defence: detect, analyse, and respond to real‑time security incidents across razorblue and client networks Take the lead in vulnerability management — from scanning and risk analysis to remediation coordination Run proactive security audits and phishing simulations to strengthen awareness and resilience Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to accelerate resolve of high-risk vulnerabilities Stay ahead of the curve through continuous learning, certifications, and knowledge‑sharing Champion precision: produce top‑tier incident reports and maintain robust documentation Qualifications Full UK driving licence Entry‑level security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CySA+, etc.) or working toward one Hands‑on experience in security incident response, vulnerability assessments, and root cause analysis Skilled in producing incident reports, security metrics, and supporting awareness training Comfortable with internal security audits and refining SOPs and playbooks Knowledge of key security tools: Microsoft Defender, Sentinel One, Mimecast, KnowBe4, Qualys, Nessus Experience working with cross‑functional teams to strengthen security posture Familiarity with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail Confident analysing logs, network traffic, and identifying vulnerabilities Independent and curious: proactive in learning and sharing knowledge Excellent communicator with clear documentation skills Solid understanding of ITIL framework and industry best practices Excellent conversational fluency in English to clearly explain complex technical issues Customer‑facing skills and effective communication are essential for a positive client experience Benefits Base salary of £29,000 – £33,000 per annum depending on skills and knowledge 25 days holidays per annum plus public holidays and the ability to purchase 10 additional days Birthday off £2,000 referral scheme bonus Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and baby bonus Fully funded training and accreditations Two paid charity volunteering days per year Discounted broadband Life insurance Private health insurance with Vitality Health Quarterly team social fund Cycle to Work scheme Partnered with Currys to gear up with the latest tech toys Eco‑friendly electric car scheme Hybrid working policy across most roles We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible recruitment process.
