Job Purpose and Main Duties

This specialised administrative role, where no two days or tasks are the same, is at the forefront of supporting a creative Brand Marketing and Product Development Team. You’ll be working alongside a passionate and creative team of Brand and Product Managers at the cutting edge of housewares product design and marketing across all of our 6 well‑known established brands. You will be responsible for a variety of supportive tasks that will enable NPD focus, all under the guidance of experienced Senior Brand and Product Managers.

Typically, your main duties will involve:

  • Manage incoming product samples from overseas suppliers – track progress and arrivals directly with suppliers, de‑label and place in brand sample area.
  • Manage, maintain, and organise group samples outside, by desks and sample rooms to recycle the area.
  • Document, record and communicate gold seal product samples, adding details around PPT packaging and inspection requirements; chase factories for gold seals; unpack, label and pass to relevant team members.
  • Chase samples from factories – pass over samples to compliance in a timely manner.
  • Help support the information build on sign‑off sheets.
  • Construct packaging prototypes/mock‑ups generated from the design team for photography, showroom displays and customer presentation requirements.
  • Purchase props for photography styling along with generating product sample lists and offering general support with studio photography shoots – this includes washing up and returning samples.
  • Showroom maintenance, ensuring all products are available and on display. Arrange for replacements if needed and remove discontinued lines accordingly. Also includes moving end‑of‑lines/slobs into promo rooms.
  • Help to build product merchandising layouts for National.
