Overview
In this role you ensure production continuity by performing planned and reactive maintenance, triggering improvements through TPM and CMMS-driven workflows. You work within the maintenance team to uphold safety and operational standards, tackling real-time issues and driving efficiency. The position offers training, development and a shift pattern that supports business growth in a high‑precision aerospace environment. You will contribute to reliable equipment performance and continuous process enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Support production continuity through planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Manage TPM activity and minimize downtime
- Handle work requisitions via CMMS and report progress to Facilities Manager
- Maintain orderly practices using CORE operating system
- Fault find on CNC machines, solvent cleaning machines, welding equipment and 3‑phase motors and controls
- Troubleshoot safety control circuits (12V/24V DC and 110/230V AC) and electrical heating systems
- Possess or develop PLC experience and uphold safety and environmental policies
- Work night shifts (8:30pm–6:15am) with 9h15m shifts and 30% shift allowance
- Adhere to company health, safety and environmental policies
- Assist with real-time problem resolution and operate calmly under pressure
- Maintain documentation and records for TPM and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with Facilities Manager and use CMMS to track progress
- Leverage Agility CMMS and CORE OS to maintain professional working practices
Key requirements
- Apprentice trained City & Guilds or equivalent
- Strong organizational abilities
- Computer skills
- Good stakeholder communication
- Ability to read schematic drawings
- IPAF and FLT licenses beneficial but not essential
- Experience with fault finding on industrial equipment; PLC experience preferred but not essential
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts and flexible hours
