You will lead and develop our CMDC training materials, shaping advanced learning solutions for defence customers.
In this role you’ll manage and mentor a team of Training Developers, align outputs with quality standards, and drive innovative, technology-led training.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Training Developers and Senior Training Developers
- Delegate tasks to leverage current skills and nurture future talent
- Own work quality and alignment with standards, objectives, and expectations
- Drive continuous improvement and keep processes/products up to date
- Coordinate with other Principal Training Developers for alignment
- Coach, mentor, and provide development opportunities for team members
- Promote innovation and CPD to achieve team goals
- Create interactive learning material per CMDC processes and guidelines
- Develop technology-led training using asset management and workflows
- Champion innovative solutions to meet training needs
- Share knowledge and ideas across CMDC; model proactive leadership
- Comply with Raytheon and customer policies; perform additional duties as needed
- Support health and safety, and participate in environmental initiatives
- Travel as required to other UK sites
- Key requirements
- Experience creating and developing content with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, 3DS Max, Blender, Unity, Articulate 360
- Ability to apply instructional design theories and adult learning principles
- Strong organizational, independent, and fast-paced collaborative skills
- Effective communication with stakeholders outside the team
- Experience in supporting and developing others; leading small teams to meet milestones
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Share Point)
- Ability to obtain SC security clearance
