Overview
In this Principal SRE role, you will own AWS-hosted infrastructures delivering B2B aviation services, ensuring reliability, performance, and secure scalability. You’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to deploy feature-rich, resilient systems and lead cloud migration efforts from on-premises to AWS. You’ll balance speed with reliability while hitting defined service levels, and support critical incidents as part of an on-call rotation. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge aviation tech and a path to shape global cloud architectures.

Responsibilities
- Own one or more AWS-hosted infrastructures delivering products to commercial customers
- Manage, enhance, and troubleshoot AWS environments with CI/CD best practices
- Deliver features with an agile release pattern and continuous testing
- Guide the team in using AWS tools to scale features for customers
- Drive the migration of a multi-tenant web application from on-premises to AWS
- Participate in on-call rotation to support critical service incidents
Key requirements
- Extensive experience delivering and operating large-scale cloud systems (AWS preferred)
- Software engineering background with coding skills in OO language (C#/.NET or Python)
- Infrastructure as code with AWS CDK
- Experience managing AWS ECS clusters and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting
- Experience with system design consulting, platform management, and AWS CloudFormation
- Experience with Docker and Git
