In this role you will lead the evolution of our learning capability within CMDC, evaluating and implementing innovative approaches to enhance training effectiveness and performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead development of the future learning capability by identifying and implementing innovative approaches
- Evaluate and recommend emerging learning technologies and trends to boost training capability
- Develop and maintain the long-term learning innovation strategy aligned with projects and operations
- Design, deliver, and evaluate innovation pilots to inform investment decisions
- Champion modern learning technologies and digital solutions to improve learner performance and accessibility
- Establish governance, standards, and assurance processes while ensuring policy, quality, and security compliance
- Build relationships across Defence, industry, and academia to foster collaboration on future capabilities
- Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives to keep processes and outputs up-to-date and high quality
- Coach teams, share best practices, and embed a culture of innovation and CPD
- Promote proactive leadership and professional attitudes across CMDC
- Ensure compliance with Raytheon and customer policies and support cross-area collaboration
- Support Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and travel requirements as needed
- Contribute to broader CMDC training service activities and improvements

- Experience in training development and standardised development environments
- Awareness of DSAT (JSP 822) and ADDIE principles and their application
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and quality assure multiple concurrent workstreams
- Autonomous and team-based working capability in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to interpret technical information for training design
- Ensure training designs meet internal quality standards
- Strong organisational skills and multitasking in deadline-driven environments
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Share Point)
