Overview
In this role you will drive supplier quality and process reliability for aerospace components. You will assess suppliers, monitor quality performance, and resolve issues through structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions. You will develop action plans for design and process improvements and oversee supplier qualification, certification, and product release processes. Occasional travel to UK suppliers supports ongoing supplier development and change management. You will join a high-impact team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier assessment, monitoring, escape management and quality issue resolution
- Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions for supplier-related problems
- Perform root cause analysis (8D) and support escape management procedures
- Develop corrective/preventive actions for systemic design/process issues from suppliers
- Manage supplier qualification/certification, source inspection and material release processes
- Review processes and metrics to ensure supplier capability for work transfer, PPAP, and change management
- Travel periodically to supplier sites in the UK
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (education not explicitly specified)
- Experience in a supply chain operations environment or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Quality Regulations and Quality Tools
- Experience with PFMEAs, Control Plans and Process Flows
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders
- Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and adapt communication styles
- Experience with problem solving and escape management techniques
- Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) knowledge
- Aerospace industry experience is desirable
