Main duties will include:

  • Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis of training requirements and production of DSAT Documentation for military training sites and organisations.
  • Analysing, capturing and articulating training needs arising from new or changing requirements.
  • Inform on the optimum training solution(s) to meet the Authority’s training requirements, balancing time, cost and quality, and define the training solution at the appropriate level of detail to enable Training Design to commence.
  • Conduct DSAT Element 1 (Analysis) to produce and or update the required outputs as laid out in JSP 822 Defence Guidance for Training and Education.
  • Conduct DSAT Design Stage 1 to produce and or update the required outputs as laid out in JSP 822 Defence Guidance for Training and Education.
  • Requesting and reviewing existing training documentation as required.
  • Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data as required.
  • Participating in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis and writing reports on the findings of the analysis.
  • Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement’.

Essential:

  • Required experience in training analysis processes
  • Training evaluation processes
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and within the customer organisation
  • Good planning and organisational skills

Desirable experience:

  • Development and delivery environments and have contributed to the analysis of significant training courses – preferably within a Defence/DSAT environment.
  • Report writing skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good level of IT knowledge
