Cyber: Our National Security Cyber business delivers mission-critical solutions that safeguard our national security 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Working in a mature, agile environment, our SCRUM teams work synchronously with our customers to solve some of the toughest digital challenges faced in the world today.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure
- Understand the needs of project stakeholders
- Automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats
- Identify technical problems and develop software updates and solutions
- Work with other engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Required experience:
- Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery mode
- Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure)
- Infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
- Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines
- Container platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker
- Experience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents
- Experience in scripting languages and source control
