b Overview /b p In this role, you will lead subcontracting activities within the British Army Collective Training Transformation Programme, shaping supplier engagement and contract execution. You’ll operate in a matrix structure, collaborating with OMNIA Training and Raytheon UK teams to deliver high-impact outcomes. You will solve complex subcontract challenges and drive improvements that support mission-focused training transformation for the British Army. This is a chance to influence frontline capability and contribute to a major national defence initiative. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Manage subcontractors/suppliers with 10–40m contracts with minimal oversight /li li Lead small projects or subcontracting processes with accountability for delivery /li li Apply advanced subcontracting knowledge to solve complex problems across multiple areas /li li Negotiate contracts, NDAs, and terms conditions /li li Coach and guide junior professionals to ensure quality in subcontract execution /li li Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align on policies and procedures /li li Influence operational decisions and enhance subcontracting processes and systems /li li Deliver day-to-day objectives with significant programme impact /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li University degree (preferably STEM or business) or equivalent experience /li li Practical knowledge of subcontract management, supplier engagement, and contract execution /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and across functions /li li Experience managing subcontracting activities and contributing to planning /li li Experience coaching junior team members /li li Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with operational influence /li li Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) is essential /li li Experience operating in joint or matrixed teams /li li Ability to communicate across military and industry partners /li li Focus on outcomes, delivery, and operational excellence /li /ul ul li mission focus /li li collaboration /li li proactive problem-solving /li li subcontract management /li li contract negotiation /li li NDAs and terms conditions /li /ul
