Overview
In this role you will lead the Naval Power CIWS Sustainment finance team within a large DoD/FMS contract portfolio, guiding financial operations and ensuring policy compliance. You will mentor staff, manage EAC processes, and partner with program leadership to translate finances into actionable insights. You’ll influence forecasting, planning, and cross‑functional decisions with internal and external customers. This is a fast‑paced, impact‑driven position at RTX where your analyses support strategic funding and program execution. You will help shape improvements in finance processes and tools that enable better decision making.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee EACs on a quarterly basis
- Interface with Control Account Managers and Program Management to ensure financial policy compliance
- Analyze program performance and support IOT management using financial tools (APEX, PRISM)
- Provide training and mentoring to team members
- Support bookings, sales, earnings, and cash forecast to Financial Planning
- Summarize contract inputs for annual and long‑range planning
- Contribute to cross‑functional teams on financial implications of decisions
- Identify and implement process and tool improvements for the finance team
- Provide ad‑hoc support for RFIs, CFRs, ROMs and proposals
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience with 5+ years in finance or accounting
- Experience with SAP (APEX, PRISM, BW/AO) or similar systems
- Experience with Program Controls (Cost/Schedule) and EAC process
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility
- Strong communication, analytical, and multi‑tasking abilities
- Experience in DoD industry and with IOT relationships is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills; negotiation and leadership experience
