Overview
In this role you will support build and braze operations to ensure on-time delivery and quality. You will collaborate with Design, Quality, Operations and Supply Chain to implement manufacturing improvements and reduce costs. You will drive continuous improvement, create and maintain SOPs, and design tooling to enable efficient production. This is a hands-on role in a high-tech aerospace environment with a focus on automation, problem solving and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and manufacturing specifications
- Support investigations using problem resolution tools and RCCA techniques
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency, SRR
- Coordinate corrective actions from investigations
- Design and update jigs, fixtures and tooling; generate manufacturing drawings
- Raise orders for new equipment as needed
- Ensure Operations supports on-time delivery
Key requirements
- HNC/HND in Engineering (minimum)
- Experience as Manufacturing Engineer in aerospace/automotive/industrial sectors
- Familiarity with Quality, Industrialisation and Operations processes
- Experience with sheet metal parts, castings, complex machined parts and assemblies
- Proficient with ERP SAP and MES like Solumina
- Strong technical drawing and GD&T knowledge
- Experience in 8D, fault tree, and fishbone root-cause analysis
- Production or external supply chain experience
- Desirable: design experience and project management focused on new processes/automation
