Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting into the FP&A Manager. The role will enable the individual to gain a strong understanding of the whole business, supporting and working closely with all Finance teams and gaining exposure to Senior Stakeholders.Support various quarterly reporting requirements including SJE (Significant Judgments and Events), US Tax Group returns, etc.Preparation of insightful ad hoc analysis or special projects including other finance support to support key decision making.Recognised as an expert within the organisation in terms of the financial forecast.Understanding financial impacts of business decisions and support thereof.Deputise for the FP&A Manager when required including the line-management of the FP&A Analyst and Finance Graduate.Ability to convey financial data to the layperson in an effective manner.Assumed system skills: high level of competence with modelling in excel and history of demonstrable process improvement.Inquisitive approach to day-to-day tasks, with a desire to question and challenge data, as well as lead on continuous improvement regarding the quality and efficiency of deliverables and processes.1) but other qualifications considered with relevant experienceWill consider a part-qualified/newly qualified accountant.Experience using integrated financial systems such as SAP (Apex/Prism), Cognos & BWLocation: Harlow (Hybrid) with 2-3 days a week on site.#All qualified applications will be given careful consideration without regard to ethnicity, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation or identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
