Overview
As IT Project Manager at Raytheon UK, you will lead the delivery of complex, business-critical technology projects within a collaborative IT team. You will drive transformation, governance, and value realization across cross-functional stakeholders. This role offers exposure to regulated delivery environments and a chance to shape technology outcomes in defence and aerospace. You will work with agile and structured methods to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple IT projects from initiation to completion, meeting objectives on time and within budget
- Develop and maintain project plans, resources, schedules, risks, dependencies, and governance
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders to drive outcomes
- Monitor performance, budgets, timelines; proactively address risks, issues, and scope changes
- Produce clear project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications with regular progress updates
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and governance standards while delivering measurable business value
Key requirements
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end IT projects with planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement
- Lead technology projects through full lifecycle from design and business case to handover
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and adapting approaches
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all organisational levels
- Proficiency with project management/scheduling tools (MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent) and strong MS Office skills
- PRINCE2 and/or PMP certification; experience in regulated/delivery environments advantageous
