b Overview /b p As Assistant Project Manager in the Advanced Products team, you will support the end-to-end delivery of complex programmes, coordinating activities across IPTs, suppliers, and customers. You’ll help manage governance, risk, schedules and exports while ensuring compliance and high-quality deliverables. This role contributes to RTX UK’s growth by enabling successful project execution in a fast-paced, collaboration-focused environment. You will work closely with the Programme Manager to drive timely outcomes and customer satisfaction. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li competitive salaries /li li 25 days holiday plus public holidays with buy/sell option /li li contributory pension scheme (up to 10.5%) /li li discretionary company bonus /li li life assurance (6x salary) /li li flexible benefits including health, dental, cycle to work /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Support planning, execution and monitoring of programme activities to meet milestones /li li Coordinate workflows, track progress and help resolve risks, issues and dependencies /li li Prepare governance updates and decision-ready reports /li li Raise and track shipment requests and coordinate logistics with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders /li li Support returns and repairs contracts coordination to ensure timely resolution and compliance /li li Prepare and coordinate technology transfer documentation in line with export governance requirements /li li Gather technical, commercial and operational inputs for bids and proposals with IPT /li li Assist with cost and schedule performance input for EAC reviews and monthly programme reviews /li li Create and maintain meeting minutes, action trackers and summaries for Programme Manager /li li Prepare customer-facing schedule updates and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Degree qualified in a technical, manufacturing or project management-related discipline or equivalent experience /li li Experience delivering projects to schedule, budget and quality /li li Ability to meet customer requirements /li li Experience in project financial reporting /li li Knowledge of risk and opportunity management techniques and tools /li li Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (Desirable) /li li Experience in proposal preparation (Desirable) /li li Effective stakeholder management (Desirable) /li li Able to manage budgets and forecast costs to complete (Desirable) /li /ul ul li customer-focused /li li strong communication /li li resilience /li li project management /li li governance and reporting /li li risk and opportunity management /li /ul
