About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join the Advanced Products Team during a time of sizeable growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing high quality, accurate and actionable financial analysis and insight to the Advanced Products Finance and Programme teams.

Main Duties:

  • Provided financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering support across programme and commercial operations.
  • Assisted with budgeting, pricing, new business proposals, risk management, stakeholder engagement, customer reporting, and strategic financial analysis to support business growth, profitability, and compliance.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA

Desirable Skills/Requirements:

  • Commercial experience within a defence, aerospace, or complex contracting environment
  • Project accounting experience
  • Experience using SAP, Cognos, and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Existing security clearance, or willingness and ability to obtain one.
