What You’ll Do

Raytheon UK is seeking a capable and experienced project manager to manage a strategic contract with significant supply chain content to deliver design, manufacture and delivery of a sophisticated training device. The successful candidate will lead and manage all resources across all functions necessary to deliver the programme or programme element. The PM is accountable to the Integration Programme Manager (Devices) for meeting delivery commitments to time (schedule), quality and cost.

  • A self-starting and capable manager, able to manage change through the matrix organisation, even where direct hierarchical control does not exist.
  • Resilient and supportive, with the stamina to work in sometimes sensitive and pressurised situations to overcome delivery challenges.
  • Credibility when engaging with technical specialists and subject-matter experts.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the drive to enhance performance and outcomes.
  • Creative and open to innovative approaches to problem-solving.
  • Relevant industry experience.

For this role the successful hire will need to be a permanent UK resident and successfully complete a baseline (BPSS) security and background check, and either hold or be willing/eligible to obtain SC clearance.
