Your Role as a Talent Specialist
As a Talent Specialist at Raytheon, you won’t just be filling roles; you will be delivering talent programmes that protect national security and enhance aerospace technology. You’ll recruit a mixture of corporate and deeply technical roles including security-cleared and specialist talent, developing your sourcing skills and gaining exposure to niche positions. You will have autonomy to shape sourcing strategies, engage directly with talent, and manage relationships with stakeholders, giving you influence and visibility across the business. You will join a supportive and empowering team led by a manager who values trust, autonomy, and professional growth. We focus on developing expertise in delivery, stakeholder engagement with clear direction and open communication. What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process across a range of roles (c25 roles).
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies.
- Proactively source top talent via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and targeted search.
- Develop and maintain pipelines for niche and cleared talent in engineering, cyber, and project delivery.
- Deliver excellent candidate and stakeholder experiences, with timely updates and clear communication.
- Use Workday to manage candidate pipeline.
- Support offer and onboarding stages, ensuring full compliance with clearance and right-to-work checks.
- Contribute to team initiatives and process improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience sourcing through LinkedIn, job boards, and talent platforms.
- Comfortable managing up to 25 open requisitions (some could be multiples of the same position) working with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Recruitment experience in technical, specialist, or regulated sectors.
- ATS proficiency and a data-driven approach to tracking progress.
- Solid knowledge of UK hiring compliance and employment law.
- Experience recruiting in defence, aerospace, or security-cleared environments.
- Understanding of SC/DV clearance processes and MOD contracts.
- Familiarity with early careers, internal mobility, or pipelining initiatives.
