About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join Raytheon UK who will report directly to the Senior Quality Engineer, for the Weapons & Sensors business area. Your key responsibilities for this role will involve carrying out process and final inspection of hardware ensuring it meets customer delivery requirements and strict quality standards.
Working as part of a supportive QC Inspection Team, you will be conducting day to day activities whilst engaging with key stakeholders across IPTs (Integrated Project Team).
Skills And Experience
We are looking for someone who has a Quality mindset, someone who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail. You will be a self-starter, a team player who can communicate and who has good time management.
- Microsoft office skills, Excel, word, Power point
- Trained to, and with a good working knowledge of, IPC-A-610 & J-Std-001
- Some background in electronics manufacture would be an advantage
- HNC/HND; Eng discipline or equivalent work experience
- Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of CCA and mechanical assembly
- Promote continuous Improvement, through best practice, problem solving & education.
Responsibilities/Main Duties
- In process and final inspection of customer hardware
- Support the data collection and analysis of data packs
- Support customers buy off
- Assist in the creation of metrics
- Assist Quality Engineers and Good In Inspection as needed
