The role
Raytheon UK’s Courseware and Media Development Capability (CMDC) is looking for Media Developers to support training development of our training materials.
Main duties will include:
- Be responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
- Any other duties required to complete the CMDC Training Service.
The ideal candidate has a background in media design for digital learning and is comfortable working within a standardised development environment, thinks creatively, is confident, excels in a collaborative team atmosphere, and is detail oriented. A professional attitude, ability to follow technical and workflow processes, and solid communication skills are essential.
Essential:
Should have extensive experience of:
- Experience in creating and developing graphic design and media content with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of design tools, 3DS Max, Blender, Unity or Articulate 360.
- Must be organised and work well both independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to comprehend/interpret technical and non-technical information and apply it to visual media and animations.
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- To effectively communicate with stakeholders outside of the media team to gather technical information necessary for media requirements.
- The successful candidate must be able to qualify for SC security clearance.
Required education and experience:
- A qualification in Digital Media, Graphic Design or a related field at the minimum grade of QCF Level 4 or equivalent.
Desirable:
Should have some experience of:
- Experience using Moodle.
- 3D modelling software Blender/3DS Max or equivalent.
- Articulate Storyline.
- Moodle H5P plugin.
- Creation of animation sequences exploiting effective asset management and workflow.
- Visualising and planning of media along a timeline.
