Responsibilities

  • Serve as part of the Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Training Team, collaborating with systems, software engineering, and programme management.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  • Prepare Technical Manuals in formats such as AESP or US Government Technical Manual.
  • Build and conduct customer training sessions using MS Power Point and on‑job training.
  • Assist the Integrated Support Manager in carrying out all role‑related tasks.
  • Prepare IPS/Supportability documentation and support customer‑facing systems.
  • Obtain and maintain the required UK security clearance (SC minimum).
  • Gain extensive training on SCi‑Toolset and the supporting hardware infrastructure.
  • Learn the lifecycle of secure, multi‑server systems and provide support across UK and international environments.
  • Strengthen communication and stakeholder management through regular engagement with internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

  • Good working knowledge of technical documentation and training material production, with a background in ISR Exploitation Systems desirable.
  • Capable of developing, implementing and controlling training plans with conflicting requirements within a busy training programme.
  • Experience conducting Maintenance Task Analysis on ISR Exploitation Systems.
  • Proficient with MS Office for the production, control and amendment of supportability documentation and technical manuals.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Technical Author.
  • Formal training qualification.
  • Engineering experience.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience working in defense, aerospace or another regulated, mission‑critical environment.
  • Experience supporting customer‑facing systems and providing remote technical support.
  • A full UK driving licence.
