Summary of Role
- Production programs are managed within agreed quality standards as well as financial budgets and timescales.
- Manufacturing compliance is maintained to RUK standards
- Financial review, analysis and reporting are delivered in line with business requirements, to RUK Control Account Management standards
- Continuity of production is maintained across the Glenrothes and Livingston site
What your days will look like
- Ensuring world-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all site EH&S requirements promptly
- Leading and managing a team of Production Managers, providing them with coaching and development.
- Enabling a culture of high performance, engagement and accountability.
- Supporting workforce planning activities such as recruitment of resource to meet business demand.
- Driving the team to ensure manufacturing compliance is maintained to RUK standards
- Accountability for manufacturing both Glenrothes and Livingston locations holding overall responsibility for production of quality products in an efficient and timely manner.
- Providing leadership coaching and development for production management team.
- Disciplined execution of the daily lean management system, including tiered accountability meetings, visual management systems, and leader standard work.
- Driving accountability to daily results and rapid corrective actions to overcome misses.
- Champion for safety, quality improvement, and CORE programs across all manufacturing areas.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Leadership experience of diverse teams
- Extensive Management experience in a similar environment.
- Strong SAP & MS Office Skills
- Experience in a mixed-mode manufacturing environment, utilising interfaces with ERP systems
- Strong communication and presentation skills
