Summary of Role

  • Production programs are managed within agreed quality standards as well as financial budgets and timescales.
  • Manufacturing compliance is maintained to RUK standards
  • Financial review, analysis and reporting are delivered in line with business requirements, to RUK Control Account Management standards
  • Continuity of production is maintained across the Glenrothes and Livingston site

What your days will look like

  • Ensuring world-class safety culture is maintained and respond to all site EH&S requirements promptly
  • Leading and managing a team of Production Managers, providing them with coaching and development.
  • Enabling a culture of high performance, engagement and accountability.
  • Supporting workforce planning activities such as recruitment of resource to meet business demand.
  • Driving the team to ensure manufacturing compliance is maintained to RUK standards
  • Accountability for manufacturing both Glenrothes and Livingston locations holding overall responsibility for production of quality products in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Providing leadership coaching and development for production management team.
  • Disciplined execution of the daily lean management system, including tiered accountability meetings, visual management systems, and leader standard work.
  • Driving accountability to daily results and rapid corrective actions to overcome misses.
  • Champion for safety, quality improvement, and CORE programs across all manufacturing areas.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

  • Leadership experience of diverse teams
  • Extensive Management experience in a similar environment.
  • Strong SAP & MS Office Skills
  • Experience in a mixed-mode manufacturing environment, utilising interfaces with ERP systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Work Culture
