Responsibilities
- Review transactions (Distribution, Purchase Orders, Pegging, etc.) and work with the business team to resolve errors.
- Manage financial calendars and SAP schedules.
- Provide training to users regarding business processes and SAP issues.
- Collaborate with key users to identify, scope, and implement system changes to improve processes and respond to business change.
- Serve as a single point of knowledge across Finance, Manufacturing, and SCM on data movement between functions.
- Act as the Business Process Expert/Super User for all SAP and SAP BW activities across Business and IT.
- First line of help for all business users.
- Review daily GPD Pegging error reports, investigate new errors, and suggest corrective action.
- Review daily GPD Distribution error reports, investigate new errors, and suggest corrective action.
- Review daily GPD ZCMR (Purchase Order) reports, analyze movements in error accounts, and suggest corrective action.
- Respond to GPD business queries, determining if issues arise from actual problems or misunderstandings.
- Explain GPD cost movements to the business, identifying causes.
- Provide GPD-related training when requested or where gaps exist.
- Act as the resident expert in SAP and SAP BW applications.
- Define processes and procedures for transaction use.
- Work with IT Technical System Experts to prioritize defects and describe needed system changes.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in Finance, SCM, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial from an IT perspective.
- Plan work with the Head of ERP Services, ensuring operational integrity, compliance, and adherence to security, accreditation, and audit requirements.
- Lead troubleshooting of all business‑related service issues.
- Support implementation and measurement of key service level agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain service quality levels, overseeing complex customer service events.
- Manage incidents, problems, and changes efficiently, supporting release of updates in line with technology roadmaps.
- Maintain associated documentation, support procedures, and rota/cover arrangements as necessary.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in developing and implementing the SAP R/3 ERP system, with recognised financial qualifications.
- Experience in analysing GPD (Grouping, Pegging, Distribution) issues within aerospace and defence.
- Strong experience with SAP ERP/MRP focusing on product cost management.
- Functional expertise with SAP R/3 FI/CO/PS and integration with SAP PP/MM/SD modules.
- Experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments.
- Understanding of IT systems disciplines, including requirements, configuration, change control, reliability analysis, and quality management.
- Ability to lead business‑centric requirements discussions and support technical designs through deployment and operations.
- Experience providing high‑demand/mission‑critical systems on a 24x7 basis.
- Knowledge of Service Management disciplines, engagement, design, delivery, and maintenance lifecycles.
- Effective problem‑solving skills in complex support incidents.
- Excellent relationship and communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaboration capability within virtual teams and multi‑party environments.

- SC cleared or ability to obtain SC clearance.
- Experience with other key transactional and reporting systems and data warehousing.
