Raytheon UK is offering a 12 month fixed term contract for Production Associate roles in Glenrothes. The role involves working within an electronics manufacturing facility with possible travel to the Livingston site. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training in the first few weeks to ensure success in the role. Eligibility to obtain BPSS clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
- Mechanical and wiring assembly
- Kit preparation
- Bonding and coating
- Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic PC skills
- Quality focused, high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
