Location(s): Hybrid - Manchester, Gloucester or Harlow
Working across the Raytheon UK core business areas, supporting the recruitment lifecycle within RTX. Working closely with the business and functional stakeholders, to shape the growth of RTX. This role will involve a collaborative approach to acquiring talent both internally and externally to meet future resourcing needs. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for sourcing, attracting, evaluating and hiring candidates to fill open positions both now and to fit proposed growth. With a direct to market model, the focus is to deliver for the business, utilising a blended approach to ensure appropriate service level agreements are met.
What you’ll do:
- Forge Relationships – develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, elevating the visibility of the talent acquisition team through consistent engagement and proactive meetings.
- Partnering with People & Culture Business Partners in ensuring recruitment requirements are effectively met and tracked and that strategic support and thought talent acquisition leadership is provided to hiring managers.
- Partnering with the talent development team to fill roles from internal talent pipelines from early careers to future leaders.
- Managing the candidate experience, including providing timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Strategic Guidance – develop effective sourcing strategies.
- Managing the overall delivery of recruitment service and advise, from strategy definition to offer accepted and probation follow-up.
- Maintaining in-depth understanding of the complex and diverse recruiting needs, ensuring these are translated to robust and accurate recruitment solutions, and that are in turn supported by comprehensive delivery plans.
- Implement plans to ensure diversity, attraction and the candidate experience are at the forefront to retain future talent.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and hiring.
- Innovative Solutions – especially to facilitate ‘hard to fill’ and specialist roles.
- Posting job openings on various platforms and sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other channels.
- Design, deliver, and present tailored market-focused presentations to stakeholders, offering creative solutions to source candidates.
- Stakeholder Support – accountability and offer expert advice.
- Driving success of recruitment delivery, ensuring stakeholders are satisfied, and that recruitment service is being provided and received according to agreed metrics, as well as principles.
- Managing reference checks, security requirements and background screenings on potential candidates.
- Preparing synthesized monthly/quarterly analysis of results, agile retrospective of own work and quarterly action plans.
Who we are looking for:
- Demonstrated success in permanent or contract recruitment, ideally within a matrix organisation.
- Proven track record in direct to market recruitment, including writing job advertisements, job board database searches including LinkedIn.
- Can demonstrate a flexible approach to sourcing candidates both internally and externally.
- Proven internal resourcing experience.
- Knowledge of the Cyber security/Software, defence or Aerospace or similar technical recruitment disciplines.
- Experience of working with internal business partners on talent pipelines, early careers and supporting talent development.
25 days holiday (increasing to 27 days) + statutory public holidays. Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 10.5% company contribution). Discretionary Bonus scheme. Enhanced family friendly policies. 37hr standard working week, with an early finish on Fridays whilst operating a ‘Hybrid Working Model’. Canteen facilities are available at Harlow & Glenrothes sites. Manchester & Gloucester offer free snacks & drinks (hot & cold).
