Role Overview

As Supplier Quality & Compliance Support, you will play a critical role in ensuring supplier performance, regulatory compliance, and product quality across the supply chain.

You’ll support both compliance oversight and supplier quality initiatives, driving continuous improvement, maintaining certifications, and safeguarding customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Support the deployment of quality, compliance, and safety management strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory, customer, and business requirements.
  • Support supplier, internal, and external audits to maintain approvals, including ISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, UK CAA/EASA Part 145, and FAA requirements.
  • Support supplier performance management through Supplier Scorecards, Maturity Assessments, and Engagement Plans.
  • Assist in flowing down business and customer standards to suppliers, ensuring alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new product introduction activities by assessing supplier readiness, product assurance, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Assist with compliance governance activities, including data management, reporting, and tracking the closure of compliance issues.
  • Participate in regulatory and customer surveillance visits, supporting the management of findings and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Assist root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions using 8D, DAISE, and other problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Review release documentation, including Form 1 Certificates, Certificates of Conformance (Co C) and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), and support contract reviews.
  • Deliver compliance and quality training and maintain staff competency and training records.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, and Suppliers to resolve quality and compliance issues throughout product development, production, and acceptance phases.
  • Monitor and report KPIs, perform trend analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing risk, eliminating waste, and improving operational effectiveness.

Experience / Skills You Must Have

  • Qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience
  • Background in supplier quality, compliance, manufacturing, or MRO environments
  • Material control awareness (stock locations, material movements)
  • Auditing experience – supplier and internal audit.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and standards: UK CAA/EASA Part 145, FAA, AS9100, AS9110, AS9120, ISO9001, AS9102, SABRe, AS1300
  • Fuel System / Aero Engine product knowledge and special process auditing experience advantageous
  • Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau
  • Skilled in root cause analysis, problem‑solving, corrective action, and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and customers across different cultures
  • Good attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
