About the Role
Programme Management Excellence (PMX) are looking for dynamic and high performing Graduates to join their successful team of over 100 programme delivery professionals located at various sites across the UK. As a Graduate Project Manager you will be engaged from day one in performing a "real" job, working within our experienced project delivery teams balancing the demands of time, cost and scope. Your role will require a flexible and an adaptable approach to fast‑paced challenges, interfacing with various project support disciplines and communicating with our Customers and Senior Leadership. As a Graduate Project Manager you will be responsible for a variety of project deliverables and also have responsibilities for administering an effective PMO function. The role embodies the driving force of every project, assuring successful hands‑on delivery execution, identifying and managing to resolution risks and issues through the use of programmatic controls and techniques. The successful candidate will be charged with the successful initiation, execution and completion of projects in line with time, quality and cost / profit targets. You will also represent Raytheon to the customer, its suppliers, management and, working directly alongside development teams. Professionalism and credibility will therefore be key.
As a Graduate Project manager, you have a real chance to come into one of the most exciting and high performing business areas within Raytheon UK where you will be afforded opportunities for formal learning, learning through doing and the early prospect of being able to contribute towards a project positive direction. This will include but is not limited to supporting key programme deliveries, scoping out timelines and activities required to execute a project, putting in place plans to ensure these are met and the opportunity to support the pursuit of new projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 : 2 undergraduate degree in Project Management, Business Management, STEM subject preferred or any degree level qualification with a focus on Project Management & Leadership (already achieved or to be completed by 7 September 2026)
- The successful candidate will be required to complete and obtain the SC Security Clearance application and be prepared to undertake and obtain the DV application in the future.
- Flexibility on location and ability to travel to our UK facilities and overseas
- Excellent STEM skills demonstrated through academic achievement
- A passion for succeeding in a fast‑paced, technology industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships
