Position
Raytheon UK has a full‑time, permanent opportunity for a Senior Test Development Engineer to join our team at the Glenrothes (Scotland), Livingston (Scotland) or Harlow (Essex) sites.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop functional test equipment for electronic systems
- Lead and support hardware/software integration and troubleshooting
- Provide lifecycle and production support, including issue resolution and obsolescence management
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop robust, scalable test solutions
- Lead design reviews and documentation to the highest standards
- Act as a mentor and technical leader for junior engineers
Required Experience
- Design of product Test Development Hardware
- Wiring Schedules
- System Interface design
- Appreciation of NI LabView/Teststand
- Ability to write comprehensive technical design documentation
- Proven experience in handover and management of designs in production
- Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills
- Able to support/debug system integration
- Must be eligible for Security Clearance to a minimum of BPSS
- Desirable Experience
- Significant test development experience in industry
- Understanding of common test architectures PXI/LXI
- Measurement Uncertainty and its application in test equipment design and validation
- Software detailed knowledge of NI LabView, CVI & TestStand, C#
