We are looking for a Deputy Customer Services Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation, based in beautiful corporate offices in Birmingham City Centre.
Supporting the Customer Services Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy serviced office and flexible workspace, overseeing a small team, and maintaining the highest standards of service for a diverse client base.
As Deputy Customer Services Manager, you will be expected to:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and facilities standards.
  • Support client move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all administration and compliance is completed accurately.
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop the junior team, leading daily team meetings and supporting with performance reviews.
  • Manage invoicing, billing, and debt collection processes.
  • Assist with sales and marketing activities, including office tours and promoting additional services.
  • Liaise with suppliers and building management to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and support audits and training.

  • 23 years experience in a customer-focused role.
  • Previous experience in a commercial environment with knowledge of service operations.
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to lead, supervise, and inspire junior staff.
  • Good IT literacy and confidence in learning and supporting telephony/IT systems.
  • A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
