We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to individuals, enabling them to live comfortably and independently. As a Care Assistant, you will assist with daily tasks, promote well-being, and ensure the dignity and respect of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care
    • Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
    • Support mobility and physical needs, including help with transferring and positioning.
  • Daily Living Support
    • Help with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
    • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry.
    • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
  • Emotional and Social Support
    • Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
    • Encourage participation in activities to enhance mental and emotional well-being.
  • Monitoring and Reporting
    • Observe and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
    • Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Follow care plans and ensure all activities align with health and safety regulations.
    • Adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience in a care role is preferred. Training will be provided.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • A valid First Aid/CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Proof of the right to work in this country.
