An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Supply Chain Department. The purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of products on time and in full while maintaining inventory targets across the Rayner product portfolio. You will be responsible for keeping track of inventory, anticipating demand, and suggesting purchases to ensure supply continuity while liaising with Operations, Quality, Customer Service, Regulatory, Sales teams, Finance, Suppliers, Logistics, and third-party wholesalers. This is a full-time permanent role based at our state-of-the-art HQ in Worthing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review planning 0-12 months horizon to ensure optimal product supply for Rayner portfolios.
- Work closely with internal and external contacts to ensure seamless product supply.
- Select transportation routes to maximise economy by combining shipments.
- Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Review stock allocation to achieve the most optimal benefit for the business (utilising financial and operational considerations).
- Support with Sales and Operations Planning process.
