An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Technician in our Cosmetic Inspection department to join our growing team, playing a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for intraocular lenses that help restore vision worldwide. This role is ideally suited to individuals who are meticulous, quality-driven, and thrive in environments requiring precision and concentration.
You will be working in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment, using microscopes and specialised equipment to inspect delicate Intraocular Lenses. Whether you already have experience in a laboratory, cleanroom, or inspection-based role, or you are looking to transition into this type of environment, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical skills. You will be based at our state-of-the-art HQ in Worthing, West Sussex.
Full-time, permanent role 12-hour shifts, 7pm – 7am, 4 on / 4 off rotation.
Key Responsibilities- Examine intraocular lenses under a microscope, identifying and removing any defective units.
- Use tweezers to carefully load the lenses into injectors while working under magnification.
- Load injectors into trays, accurately fill with saline, and seal for further processing.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to ensure only products meeting strict quality standards progress.
- Follow SOPs and work within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Accurately complete batch documentation and data entry.
- Work within a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, precision, and continuous improvement.
