We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Events and Communications Executive to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of large-scale events, as well as executing external-facing communications across a variety of formats.
Hybrid role – 3 days per week on-site at Global HQ in Worthing.
Maternity Cover / FTC, expected start date January 2026.
What You\’ll Be Doing:
- Support the planning and execution of Rayner’s presence at our key European conferences and exhibitions.
- Liaise with suppliers, venues, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Create and distribute content for event communications across email, social media, websites, and print collateral. Write compelling copy for marketing materials, invitations, and post-event write-ups.
- Support with the execution of Rayner’s global social media and email marketing content calendar.
- Support with updating and maintaining Rayner.com and associated sites.
- Oversee the process for and execution of the recording and publication of Peer2Peer The Podcast.
- Liaise with external agencies and use design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to produce on-brand visual content.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Monitor event performance and assist with post-event analysis and reporting.
What Experience & Skills Do You Need:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or similar.
- Proven experience in organising and delivering events (especially large-scale or multi-stakeholder ones).
- Strong communication skills and copywriting ability, with a flair for tone and storytelling.
- Confident using digital tools to create or edit visual assets, with an eye for good design.
- Proactive and diligent, with strong attention to detail.
- Organised, adaptable, and capable of juggling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with Podbean, MailChimp, Salesforce and Hootsuite, among others. (desirable)
