Business Manager - Punjab

Territory Covered: Entire Punjab

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Sales of Rayner and Rayner associate products to the ophthalmologist in Private Practice, Teaching Institute, Charitable Hospital and Govt Hospitals.
2. Accountable for achieving agreed sales and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales.
3. Implement related activities like customer events, sales and marketing campaigns, sales presentations necessary to achieve agreed objectives.
4. Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors.
5. Achieve agreed coverage and frequency targets through various communication channels.
6. Ensure customer satisfaction and best-in-class customer relationship.
7. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all reports.
8. Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives.
9. Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
10. Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively penetrate the ophthalmologist market.
11. Identify new business opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential clients.
12. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product.
13. Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the line manager.

What Experience & Skills Do You Need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in commerce and science.
2. Physics, Pharmacy, and Engineering background would be an added advantage.
3. Minimum 3 years of handling Pharma/Surgical/Medical Device Product, managed science-based selling with a proven record of sales performance.
4. Sales experience in the Ophthalmic Medical Devices industry will be an added advantage and preferred.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Fluent communication in English, Hindi, and Local state language.
7. Advanced ability in MS Office suite such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
