Salary: Basic salary circa £30,000 plus commission (On-Target Earnings circa £45,000-£50,000)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with only 1 in 3 Saturdays required

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Lettings Professional to join a highly respected and well-established independent estate agency based in Southwold. With a strong reputation for excellence, exceptional local knowledge, and a premium property portfolio, our client is seeking an ambitious individual to help drive the continued growth of their successful lettings department. This role offers the chance to work within a professional and supportive environment while building relationships with landlords and tenants across one of Suffolk's most desirable coastal locations.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position that will see you managing all aspects of the lettings process, building strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and contributing to the continued success of an established and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting rental valuations and winning new instructions
- Managing landlord and tenant relationships
- Arranging and conducting property viewings
- Negotiating tenancy agreements
- Progressing tenancies from instruction through to move-in
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and best practice
- Maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional customer service
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
About You
- Proven experience within residential lettings
- A strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A professional, confident, and customer-focused approach
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- A proactive attitude and a desire to succeed
- A full UK driving licence
ARLA qualifications or membership would be advantageous but are not essential.
