Sales Account Manager to join our growing sales team based in Central London.
You will be joining a fast growing Prop Tech and so experience in Estate Agency, Property Sales or Sales Progression is needed.
This is not a traditional account management role.
We're not looking for someone to sit behind a desk responding to customer service requests or managing reactive enquiries. This is a high-energy, phone-based sales role where you'll spend your day speaking with business decision-makers and driving commercial growth.
You'll inherit a portfolio of existing B2B partners and be responsible for developing those relationships, increasing engagement, generating additional revenue and identifying new commercial opportunities.
Alongside this, you'll proactively win new business through outbound prospecting.
If you enjoy building relationships but are motivated by targets, commercial conversations and closing opportunities, this role offers the perfect balance of account growth and new business development.
As part of a rapidly growing business group, you'll also have the opportunity to work across multiple products and services, providing excellent career development and progression.
The Role.
This is a proactive, desk-based sales position where you'll spend the majority of your day on the telephone and in Microsoft Teams meetings with existing and prospective business partners.
You’ll be expected to build strong commercial relationships, identify opportunities, influence decision-makers and consistently generate revenue.
This is a role for someone who enjoys selling - not servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an allocated portfolio of B2B accounts.
- Conduct proactive outbound telephone activity every day to maximise account performance.
- Hold regular Microsoft Teams meetings with business owners and senior decision-makers.
- Build trusted commercial relationships with key stakeholders.
- Create and execute account growth plans to increase revenue.
- Identify upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities.
- Lead regular commercial reviews focused on performance and growth.
- Generate repeat business and referrals from existing partners.
- Prospect for new business through outbound calling, Linked In, email and networking.
- Book and conduct virtual sales appointments.
- Deliver engaging online product demonstrations where appropriate.
- Accurately maintain customer activity within the CRM system.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider commercial team.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales, growth and activity targets.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys speaking with people and thrives in a proactive sales environment.
You’ll be confident picking up the phone, comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers and motivated by growing accounts rather than simply maintaining them.
You should have
- Experience in B2B sales, business development or proactive account management.
- Experience in Estate Agency, Property Sales or Sales Progression
- A proven track record of growing revenue and achieving sales targets.
- Confidence making high volumes of outbound calls.
- Experience conducting virtual sales meetings via Microsoft Teams or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A consultative sales approach with strong commercial awareness.
- Confidence negotiating and influencing decision-makers.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems (Hub Spot would be advantageous).
- A resilient, positive and self-motivated attitude.
