Sound understanding of building construction.
Your diary filled, no business development.
In this role, you’ll be out and about—inspecting homes, assessing conditions, spotting issues before they become problems, and putting together detailed, professional reports that clients can actually understand and act on. There’ll be a limited amount of valuation work in the mix too.
You’ll be the expert on-site, liaising with clients, stakeholders, and fellow property professionals, so strong communication skills are key. If you're confident in your surveying skills and thrive on variety, independence, and responsibility, this one’s for you.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience carrying out residential property surveys and assessments.
- A sound understanding of building construction, current regulations, and safety standards.
- Sharp analytical thinking and a knack for problem-solving on the fly.
- Top-notch written and verbal communication—clarity is key when you're translating property jargon for clients.
- Comfortable working solo and managing your own time while out in the field.
- Confident using surveying tools and modern software (no dusty clipboards here).
- High attention to detail—you spot the cracks others miss.
- RICS and/or VRS accredited (non-negotiable, we need the real deal).
- A valid UK driving licence.
