Job Summary

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, a busy and well-established independent estate agency, for a reliable and detail-focused Inventory Clerk to support their expanding lettings and property management department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, visiting properties, producing clear reports, and contributing to the smooth running of tenancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out move-in, mid-tenancy and check-out inspections
  • Produce accurate, detailed inventory and condition reports
  • Take clear, high-quality photographs documenting property condition
  • Record the state of fixtures, fittings, furnishings and appliances
  • Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the property management team
  • Manage key collection/return, appointment scheduling and report deadlines
  • Upload reports and documentation into the agency's software system
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, landlords and internal teams

Requirements

  • Experience as an Inventory Clerk, in lettings, or in property management (preferred)
  • Strong admin skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Highly organised, good time management, able to work independently
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with occasional schedule changes
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Confident using office software and able to learn new systems quickly

Working Hours

Monday-Friday: 08:30-18:00 Rota'd Saturdays when required Full-time, permanent, on-site position
