Business Development Manager – Lettings
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join a high-performing lettings team based in Clifton, Bristol. Covering Clifton, the City Centre, Henleaze, and Westbury-on-Trym, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s managed and let-only portfolios while strengthening market share through strategic business development.
This role is ideal for someone with property valuation or lettings experience who thrives on generating new business, building long-term relationships, and delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate rental valuations and secure new landlord instructions
- Generate new business and grow both managed and let-only portfolios
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with landlords and clients
- Manage offers, negotiations, and landlord–tenant communications professionally
- Support the implementation of local marketing and business development strategies
- Oversee day-to-day operations within your area of responsibility
- Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and best practices
- Motivate and support team members to achieve performance goals
- Consistently meet and exceed agreed KPIs and targets
About You
- Confident, self-motivated, and passionate about property and people
- Experienced in valuations, instructions, and negotiations within lettings or estate agency
- Commercially minded with a strong ability to identify and develop opportunities
- Highly organised and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities
- A proactive team player who also works effectively under your own initiative
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable about lettings legislation and compliance (or eager to learn)
- Holder of a full UK driving licence
