We're working with a specialist finance lender with an excellent reputation, strong culture, and flexible working, who are looking to appoint an Underwriter to support continued growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' underwriting experience, ideally within bridging and development finance, who enjoys progressing cases efficiently and working within a collaborative, commercially minded team.
The Role
- Underwriting bridging and development finance cases end-to-end
- Assessing risk, reviewing financials, and applying lending criteria
- Confidently progressing cases to completion, typically within 1-2 weeks
- Working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to maintain momentum
- Contributing to a team culture that values ownership, pace, and communication
Experience & Background
- 1-2 years' underwriting experience (specialist finance preferred)
- Exposure to bridging / development finance is ideal
- Commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise and move cases quickly
