Job Description
Class A or B license with a Hazmat endorsement is required for a tractor and trailer combination and tanker driers (for hauling refrigerated Argon, Oxygen, Nitrogen and CO2).
The Class A Driver position delivers products to local customers on scheduled routes.
Records deliveries and pick-ups on hand-held scanner or on a load manifest sheet and obtains signatures from customers for receipt purposes.
Listens to and resolves service inquiries and complaints.
Loads and unloads trucks.
Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order.
Job Duties
- Load and unload high pressure industrial gas, medical or cryogenic cylinders safely at customer sites or at our facility.
- Use company handhelds to maintain ELD, pre-trip inspection and post trip inspections.
- Communicate face to face with customers and fellow employees to help answer questions and provide a suitable solution.
- Maintain manifest and all other vehicle documents to maintain compliance with all Federal and State regulations.
Other Duties as required
The driver is expected to follow reasonable instruction from the dispatcher, supervisor or manager, and perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the dispatcher, supervisor or manager.

Minimum Qualifications
- Class A or B driver’s license with Tanker and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Card.
- ability to lift up to 60 lbs. required. Frequent bending required.
- Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to work occasional overtime.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Retail local delivery route experience strongly desired.
