As a key member of the HR team, the HR Business Partner will leverage broad, practical experience across the full range of HR disciplines to support business objectives and drive positive people outcomes within Raymond James Financial International (RJFI).

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

  • Demonstrable prior experience as a HR Business Partner, supporting Senior Stakeholders and Business Leaders within a Front Office/FCA Regulated environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Senior HRBP and the wider HR team to provide support on the core functional areas of HR, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Onboarding/Offboarding, Year End Appraisals, Compensation and Benefits.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders to provide commercially focused HR support aligned to business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on people management best practices.
  • Work closely with the global HR team on projects and cross-functional initiatives, such as acquisitions.
  • Manage and support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, absence management and flexible working requests.
  • Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Partner and external recruitment agencies to manage the recruitment process and coordination of the Investment Banking Internship Programme.
  • Manage the annual performance appraisal process including coordinating the year-end calibration sessions.
  • Support talent management, succession planning and employee development initiatives across the business.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and develop HR policies and processes.
  • Ensure all employee matters are handled with professionalism, integrity, high levels of service, consistency and fairness.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Must have a working knowledge of UK Employment Law and a good understanding of current and upcoming legislation.
  • Demonstrable experience of HR best practice across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, appraisal processes, employee relations and offboarding.
  • Must have end to end experience of managing Employee Relations processes; Disciplinary, Capability (Performance/PIPs) and Grievances, as well as absence management.
  • Must have a good understanding of FCA Regulations (SMCR) and how this should be considered alongside HR best practice.
  • Good HRIS & ATS Systems skills, experience using SDWorx, LinkedIn Recruiter & Taleo useful.
  • Intermediate/Advanced in MS Office, in particular Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HR Qualification (CIPD or similar) would be beneficial.

BUSINESS TRAVEL

Business Travel is not required as part of this role. This is a hybrid role requiring travel between 3 Office Sites in London (Moorgate, St James & Soho) in line with business needs.
