This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive events, partnerships, and sponsorship strategy aligned to the wider marketing objectives.
  • Manage relationships with key strategic partners, overseeing planning, delivery, budgeting, and performance tracking in collaboration with the Marketing Performance Analyst to ensure commitments are met and ROI is maximised.
  • Collaborate with marketing and client-facing teams to ensure integrated promotion of events, partnerships and sponsorships across all relevant channels in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Identify and develop new partnership opportunities, while strengthening and expanding existing relationships (e.g. Harlequins Rugby Club).
  • Take a lead role, alongside the Head of Marketing, in commercial negotiations for key strategic partnerships, and oversee all partnership and sponsorship agreements across the business.
  • Lead, develop and coach two direct reports (Events Manager and Sponsorships & Partnerships Executive), as well as providing guidance to the wider events team where appropriate.
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution and evaluation of all partnership-led events, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on all branch and team-led events, partnerships and sponsorship activity to ensure maximum value is achieved from each initiative.
  • Ensure all communications maintain brand consistency in both tone of voice and visual identity.
  • Maintain robust processes for version control and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and legal requirements.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management, events, partnerships and/or sponsorship management, ideally within Financial Services or a regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess strategic opportunities and clearly articulate value and ROI to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to delegate effectively and manage workloads.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging with senior leaders and external partners.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen interest in industry trends, bringing innovative ideas and seeing them through to execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance big-picture planning with operational delivery.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, optimise processes, and deliver efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education (or equivalent) in Marketing, Events Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Candidates with proven leadership experience within events, partnerships and sponsorship functions are strongly encouraged to apply.

Demonstrate Our Values:

  • We put clients first. If we do what’s right for our clients, the firm will do well, and we’ll all benefit.
  • We act with integrity. We put others above self, and what’s right above what’s easy.
  • We believe doing well and doing good aren’t mutually exclusive.
  • We think long term. We act responsibly, taking a conservative approach that translates into a strong, stable firm for clients, wealth managers, associates, and shareholders.
  • We value independence. We respect autonomy, celebrate individuality and welcome diverse perspectives, while encouraging collaboration and innovation.
