We're looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Manager to join our CIO Office. This role sits at the heart of our function, supporting governance, management information, operational processes, and supplier oversight. You'll act as a central coordination point - helping leaders make informed decisions, strengthening our risk and control environment, and ensuring our committees, projects, and processes run smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Governance & Committee Support
    • Coordinate and prepare high-quality papers, reporting packs, and MI for key governance forums, including CIO Office Meetings, Conduct & Culture, management meetings, PSC, ERC, ExCo and Board.
    • Capture decisions, track actions, and ensure timely follow-through across the CIO Office.
    • Support the Head of Investment Operations & Governance with RCSA updates, risk reviews, and audit remediation activity.
  • Management Information & Reporting
    • Maintain and enhance dashboards and MI used by the CIO leadership team.
    • Monitor KPIs, highlight emerging risks or opportunities, and work with teams to coordinate corrective or improvement actions.
    • Build strong knowledge of CIO Office propositions and processes to ensure MI is accurate, relevant, and meaningful.
  • Business & Operational Support
    • Support process improvement by identifying operational gaps and helping deliver change initiatives.
    • Provide business management support for key projects, remediation work, and operational reviews.
    • Maintain Training & Competence MI for the CIO Office.
    • Support supplier on-boarding, due diligence, and contract renewals.
    • Work closely with procurement and finance teams to ensure timely approvals, accurate MI, and effective supplier oversight.
    • Oversee contract-related tracking and invoice workflows at a governance level (execution handled by relevant support teams).

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in wealth management or financial services (essential).
  • Understanding of front-to-back processes within an investment or CIO-related environment (beneficial).
  • Excellent organisational skills and confidence engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
