Are you a detail-oriented and creative writer with a passion for simplifying complex financial concepts? We are looking for a Technical Copywriter – Financial Promotions to join our dynamic Marketing & Communications team.
In this pivotal role, you’ll combine your flair for writing with a deep understanding of financial regulations to ensure our marketing materials are not only engaging but also fully compliant with FCA rules and Consumer Duty directives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the compliance and regulatory authority within the marketing team.
- Ensure all marketing content adheres to FCA (SYSC) and Consumer Duty requirements.
- Own and maintain the Financial Promotions manual, ensuring team-wide understanding and adherence.
- Conduct regular audits of marketing materials for compliance.
- Collaborate with Compliance and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Create compelling, compliant content for campaigns, digital channels, and collateral.
- Support wealth managers, business development, and head office teams with tailored content.
- Maintain brand consistency and tone of voice across all platforms.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in technical or marketing copywriting, ideally in financial services.
- Strong knowledge of FCA SYSC rules and Consumer Duty principles.
- Experience working in regulated industries.
